Day 57 - First Puppy Leaves the Nest

Harper is the first puppy to go to his new home. He will be loved and adored by Dawn Cronin & Michell Hemus & their two daugthers. The lucky boy will be busy visiting Dawn's daycare when he's older. Good luck you guys!

Day 50

Day 49- Water Diggin in Action

Day 48

WOW....what a busy week. And I can't believe the puppies will be 7 weeks old tomorrow.

They have been busy getting into any kind of trouble that they can manage. The first would be going for a swim in our pond. The question we have yet to answer is; which puppy is NOT a water dog? LOL.

Bandelier has taken to collecting objects around the yard and creating stockpiles under bushes on multiple occasions. I'm thinking he should be re-named "Loot".

Assateague also discovered today that the chickens move away from her and you could literally see the light bulb go off in her head.

Day 42- 6 weeks old

Day 41- The Great Outdoors

Puppies finally got to go outside for the first time with the break in the weather. To say they loved it is an under statement. It was fun taking pictures of them- when they actually stopped moving here and there. To see all the photos of them go to my flickr

Day 40- Splish Splash

With both parents being part fish, it only makes sense that some, if not all, of these puppies will love swimming and playing in water. Yesterday, first Assateague, then Bandelier figured they could "dig" the water out of the bowls. Cute, yes, but messy!
Puppies also had two of the future families and Cory's relative visit them. Not a shy one in the bunch, although Lassen wasn't so sure she wanted to let down her guard with her babies yet.

Acadia was sleeping in the bucket and cory tipped it all the way upright. She just continued sleeping away! We tipped it back down and she went on with her beauty sleep never lifting an eyelid.

Day 36

Puppies really get the Zoomies now- play, play, play, then crash, everyone is out for the count.

Puppies enjoy their first CET chew. Never too early for clean teeth!

Livia (J.D.'s owner, lassen's littermate) was visiting the puppies yesterday when Augusta decided to steal food from Lassen's dish. Being the smallest puppy did not stop her! Check out the wonderful pics Livia sent me:

Day 29- Pavlov's Microwave

I realized tonight that my microwave is Pavlov's Bell to the puppies. They have only been downstairs since Sunday night and they know that the microwave running means food is coming!

The group is doing great, they are tons of work but so much fun. They still change a lot day per day.
